The latest berry harvest season in the past 40 years was 1984, when marion blackberries were harvested from July 13 through Aug 26. The tardiness this year has easily broken that amazing record, as marion harvest should kick-off around July 20-21. A clipping system may arrive Monday July 26 to cool things and threaten showers over NW WA for a day or so; not a threat to OR at this time. Overall, the PNW should remain seasonal and warm in the July 27-30 period. Some cloudiness possible. Model bring on some warmer temperatures in the July 31 to Aug 4 period.
