Congratulations, Ross. Now it's on to GRANDCHILDREN!! Our garden is going gang busters. We had a lovely crop of what I think were Green Gage Plums. Next will be a purple variety. Our apples are looking ok, although the ones from last year which produced tons, (Gravensteins, I believe), this year are producing only a few and all on one side of the tree only. Is this about apples that produce alternate years or what?

Excellent for the garden.
ReplyDeleteApple were hit hard by the cold weather for two years now.
To avoid biennual bearing, just thin the apples in May.
