Weather update

Rufus at the WxCafe® gives us a dry, warm weekend
but sultry
weather is ahead. Robin
Friday May 8
Now dry, mild-to-warm weekend, with lower than average
humidity east of the Cascades. Sunday night should bring
in showers from the
west.
Next week continues to trend towards moisture and cooler
temps early in the week.
The weekend of May 16,17 will be drying out from the system
noted above. It will take until Sunday for eastern basins to get
out from under
the showers/thunderstorms.
You can tell, there is a shift of timing, but overall, the
month of
May still has the potential for higher humidity - "the
muggies" -
and elevated plant disease pressure.
