Friday April 8 Many ask if this eternal winter will ever end.
Breezy rain will yield to showers and some breaks late Monday through Wednesday.
An unseasonably COLD upper level trough will dig into the Gulf of Alaska by mid-week, setting up atmospherics that will generate a rather intense April storm for the PNW by Thursday. The cold, WET system will pass Friday, with clearing, cool conditions next Saturday. Frost possible, if sky clears, esp east side; a mirror of this weekend, actually. Another shot of rain is possible late Sunday, Apr 17. However, model runs hint that a ridge of high pressure may, just may, build in to hold moisture west and north of the coast. THAT would yield a mild, dry couple of days starting next Sunday. We'll see.
